I upgraded to the latest version of Windows a few weeks ago, but had constant problems booting Windows. Finally, I had to reinstall Windows on my laptop again. This is totally inconvenient as I do not always have internet access; therefore, I have no way to run any of the Office apps when not online.

I followed all the directions to reload Office , anticipating it would allow me to run Word locally, but it still takes me to the online version. I also have a software product that is very much like Microsoft Office so I guess I can use that as an option. I’m tried looking at settings but there is no option to keep Word from forcing me online. How do I correct this? In the meantime I’m using my old MacBook Pro.
